Annenberg Public Policy Center



    • The program features a 49,000-square-foot, four-story flagship uniting the policy center's staff in one building. It includes offices, conference rooms, broadcast facilities, a three-level atrium, and a 200-person hall for lectures, receptions, and presentations.

      The design provides a glass building on a campus dominated by brick and stone, and the designers wanted to give it a modern glass facade which also generates some of the warmth and depth of the more traditional buildings next door.

      They layered wood with glass to produce a kind of lantern effect: behind the facade's sleek aluminum and glass curtainwall the architects placed adjustable wood-panel screens.
