Martin Luther Church

    • The Martin Luther Church in Hainburg was designed by the Austrian architecture firm Coop Himmelb (l) au. The building includes a worship space, a community hall and other utility rooms. It was built within a year and has a decidedly futuristic shape. It is located on a street corner and it dominates the front of it with his organic, sculptured spire. Since the geometry of the conspicuous shaped metal roof is extremely complex, the elements for this were made in a shipyard. The shape of the altar inside the church speaks the same language as the roof form.
