Description

    • The TaunusTurm is one of the biggest new building-projects in Frankfurt. The building consist of an office high-rise (170 meters) with approximately 60.000 sqm office space on 40 levels and a 60 meter residential building and a basement car park with ca. 350 carports.

The entire building complex will be developed on an area with 5.500 sqm and have 62.000 sqm of renting space.
It is planned to make the TaunusTurm intransigent green, both in terms of its location and its construction. The clearly defined aim is to lower the energy requirements and emissions drastically.
The concept of green architecture is also mirrored in the sun protection glazing, water saving techniques, usage of rainwater and a more efficient and intelligent elevator concept.
One part of the west-side will be used to extend the green belt of the former city wall.
A new promenade alongside the entire building will improve the accessibility of the park.

Planned construction begin is April 2011 and supposed to be finished by the end of 2013.
